Who We Are

The Pound Ridge Party is a non-partisan coalition of residents—Democrats, Independents, and Republicans—united by a shared commitment to Pound Ridge—the town we call home. 

We believe that local government should put the needs of the community above party politics. Our mission is to lead with integrity, fiscal responsibility, transparency, and inclusivity, ensuring all residents have a voice in shaping Pound Ridge’s future.

Our Candidates

This year, we are proud to support John D. “Jock” McCown for Town Supervisor, and Peter J. Avellino and Ronald A. Asaro for Town Board. 

Together, they bring decades of senior-level experience in finance, strategic planning, management, and community service. With diverse political affiliations and a unified vision, they offer balanced, thoughtful leadership focused on real solutions—not partisan agendas.

Why We're Running

We believe the future of Pound Ridge is too important to leave to entrenched interests or ineffective leadership. We're ready to take action—with real transparency, responsible budgeting, timely audits, strong environmental policies, and a renewed focus on revitalizing our business district.

We want a town government that communicates clearly, includes residents from the start, and makes decisions that reflect the values and needs of the entire community.
